## Sustainability

**Food that is good for people and planet is a core part of the Eatwise values.**

### We aim to:

- Improve access to good, honest food for everyone, no matter their budget
- Develop menus with plant-forward options using ingredients grown with nature in mind
- Reduce waste, single-use plastics and food carbon footprint, contributing to the University’s net zero plan
- Champion seasonal produce and dramatically reduce the use of ultra-processed foods in our kitchens
- Champion provenance and responsible producers within our region and on campus
