"Chemistry is fascinating because it makes many things possible that would have been inconceivable not too long ago."

## All postgraduate students must have completed 15 ECTS of taught modules to be confirmed on the PhD register (end of year 2) or to graduate with an MSc and a total of 20 ECTS must have been passed before submission of a PhD thesis.

## Students can, of course, take additional modules if they wish

## Module Enrolment

Before enrolling for modules, please discuss your choices with your supervisor and have him/her approve them (especially if registering for the NUIG module as it has an associated fee). For students who wish to add/remove modules from their module list, please contact Ben Power (postgradschemistry@tcd.ie).

All of your module enrolment/exam data is held in TCD. However, it will not show up on your myTCD portal unless the module has a blackboard element to it. If you are in doubt as to what modules you have completed, contact the school office for assistance.
