## What can I upload to TARA?
TARA is not just a repository for journal articles and theses! TARA also holds a wide range of other materials, including but not limited to:
| | |
| --- | --- |
| - Datasets | - Images |
| - Audio Files | - Working papers and reports |
| - Conference papers | - Presentations |
| - Posters | - Other digital materials |
If you have any queries about what kind of content is suitable for TARA, please don't hesitate to contact us at [rssadmin@tcd.ie](mailto:rssadmin@tcd.ie)
## Copyright
While many publishers will not allow you to deposit a copy of the published version of your article in TARA, the vast majority do allow you to deposit (or 'self-archive) the **Accepted Manuscript** version.
Every item uploaded to TARA is checked by the TARA administrators to make sure that it complies with the publisher's copyright policy.
See **[here](https://libguides.tcd.ie/TARA/copyright)** for more information on copyright and licensing in TARA.
## Which version should I upload?
The [Trinity College Dublin Open Access Publications Policy](http://www.tara.tcd.ie/handle/2262/80574) states that 'each staff member and research student will provide, immediately\
upon acceptance for publication, an electronic copy of the final peer‐reviewed draft of each article' for deposit in TARA. This is also the version that the majority of publishers will allow you to deposit.
The final peer-reviewed draft of a paper is also often referred to as the **Author's Accepted Manuscript**, or **post-print**. This version may contain the same text as the final published version, but it should not contain any of the publisher's copy-editing or formatting.
See the below examples for an idea of what the paper you upload to TARA should look like.
