How to Apply

Postgraduate applications to Trinity are submittedvia the page of the course you wish to study.

Completing an Application

In your application you will see these steps:

Any fields that are mandatory are marked with an asterisk. When each step is completed you will see a green tick in the application checklist bar.

If you haven't completed your application and wish to save your information, click the 'Save and Close' button. If you wish to save your information and proceed to the next step, click the 'Save and Proceed' button.

If you have not completed your exams, you can enter the approximate future date of when your exams are due to take place.

If you are from a predominately non-English speaking country, please complete the English Language Proficiency section. If you have not completed this at the time of your application, you can enter a grade of N/A. This is where you enter the details of your academic referees (teachers, principals or guidance counsellors) from your school.

When you submit your application, these referees will be contacted to submit their reference letter.

Please provide institutional/professional email addresses for your referees - personal email addresses (e.g. Gmail, Hotmail) are not accepted.

Any documents which have not been submitted in previous sections can be added here.

You need to provide a Curriculum Vitae (CV) which outlines your previous education, employment history and your places of residence, especially in the past five years.

Additional supporting documents can be added after you submit your application if required.

Application Requirements

As part of the online application, applicants will also need to submit original or certified true* copies of:

Third level qualification results; academic transcripts for each year of third level study and all third level qualifications awarded
Evidence of proficiency in English language*
Two letters of recommendation
Passport
Application fee (non-refundable)
