## Transfer/Confirmation Reports (transfer from M.Sc. to Ph.D. register/confirmation on Ph.D. register)

All PhD research students must submit a confirmation report in their second year of study. A copy of the transfer report (30-35 pages) must be submitted in PDF format to the School Office (postgradschemistry@tcd.ie). Students who wish to move from the MSc to the PhD register must complete a transfer report which is identical in format to the confirmation report. There are three annual deadlines:

- By 4pm on 1st Friday in February for September-registered postgraduates
- By 4pm on 1st Friday in June for January-registered postgraduates
- By 4pm on 1st Friday in September for March-registered postgraduates
