What is the Research Support System?

The Research Support System (RSS) allows Trinity College Dublin staff and research postgraduates to maintain and update their research profiles. The RSS is a single location for all TCD research activity.

Your RSS profile is key for showcasing your research. Information from the RSS is used to populate public-facing webpages including:

The RSS is also used for several internal processes, including:

Regularly updating your RSS profile will help to save you time when you need to use your profile for any of these purposes, while also allowing you to showcase your work through the TCD website.

How to use the RSS

To learn about the RSS please join our Blackboard course "Research Support System and TARA training". You can simply self-enrol by searching for module code "rss_tara".

If you would like to arrange a one-to-one or group training session, or if you have any questions about the RSS, please contact rssadmin@tcd.ie.

ORCID and the Research Support System
