# Research Support System (RSS)

The Research Support System is the University’s Current Research
Information System (CRIS) which is which developed in-house in
collaboration with the TCD Library.

It allows Trinity College Dublin staff and research postgraduates to
maintain and update their research profiles with information on
research interests, research projects and publications. Research
publications can also be uploaded directly from the RSS to the
institutional repository, [TARA](http://www.tara.tcd.ie/). The system
provides a central source for this information within the University
thus allowing researchers to maximise their impact while saving time.
