Professor John G. Byrne’s legacy to Trinity included some funding to support students from the School of Computer Science and Statistics (including Computer Engineering) to undertake a postgraduate course at Imperial College London.

The bursary for an individual student is to the value of €5,000. Details of how students can apply are available at: <https://www.tcd.ie/e3/imperial-scholarships/>

Applications require an offer of a place at Imperial College London, but potential applicants are welcome (and encouraged) to contact Caroline Brophy ([caroline.brophy@tcd.ie](mailto:caroline.brophy@tcd.ie)) while their application to Imperial is ongoing.
