The University of Leeds is a key sponsor of UTC Leeds.

As Leeds' only University Technical College, UTC Leeds offers employer-led academic and technical learning with a focus on engineering and advanced technology. It provides a unique educational experience for students who love science, technology, engineering and maths.

Students can join in Year 10 or Year 12. The core vision is to inspire the next generation of leading engineers, scientists and innovators.

Students have the opportunity to:

The driving force behind all aspects of UTC Leeds is a combination of seven employability skills which are central to the curriculum. They were devised in conjunction with the University of Leeds and employer partners to ensure that students leaving UTC Leeds are highly employable.
