## My role

I am responsible for the leadership and effective delivery of the Lifelong Learning Centre’s pre-entry information, advice and guidance service.

The service offers free, impartial one-to-one appointments to individuals from widening participation backgrounds. We aim to take a strategic approach to utilising guidance resources effectively to impact a wider group of potential applicants to higher education and enhance progression opportunities. My work involves working closely with Admissions colleagues from schools across the University.

## Qualifications

I am a fully qualified educational guidance practitioner (PG Dip Careers Guidance) working to the Matrix quality standard for information, advice and guidance services.

I am a member of the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services.
