## My role

I help groups of adults explore their options in education. I work closely with community organisations across Leeds and Wakefield, with a particular focus on groups that are under-represented in Higher Education.\
  \
Through taster sessions and outreach visits, I provide information for adults about the opportunities that exist for them to explore if higher education is something they might like to pursue. \
 \
I work in partnership with a wide range of statutory and voluntary sector organisations and continually look for ways to add value to the vital work they do.

## Research interests

I have particular interests around asset-based community development, health inequalities and the links between education and health outcomes.

I am listed as an external co-investigator on a research project which looks at addressing health inequalities. This is a pilot evaluation on healthy eating intervention.
