Job title : Adult Learners Officer and Project Manager, Lifelong Learning Centre

My role

As Adult Learners Officer and Project Manager in the Lifelong Learning Centre (LLC), I work with other members of our Communities and Partnerships team to develop, plan, deliver and evaluate events and activities that promote the Centre's mission of lifelong learning and widening participation in higher education.

These initiatives include in-person and online information sessions, taster events and short courses, providing prospective mature students with accessible ways of exploring the services, programmes and support offered by the LLC and the wider University.

Through these activities we support potential applicants in connecting with a welcoming community, building their confidence to help them achieve their academic goals.

I also work closely with other colleagues in the LLC and across the University, such as our Marketing team, to support the planning and delivery of customer service activities, cross-Centre administration and the development of new marketing resources.
