## Academic year 2025/2026

The following term and semester dates relate to the general teaching and examination periods at the University. Dates may differ for some programmes of study, especially postgraduate and Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences programmes.

### Terms

- **Autumn term:** Monday 29 September to Friday 12 December 2025
- **Spring term:** Monday 12 January to Friday 27 March 2026
- **Summer term:** Monday 27 April to Friday 19 June 2026

### Semesters

- **Autumn semester:** Teaching begins: Monday 29 September 2025. Teaching ends: Friday 12 December 2025
- **Spring semester:** Teaching begins: Monday 26 January 2026 (start dates may vary by School). Teaching ends: Friday 8 May 2026

### Introduction week

- Monday 22 September to Sunday 28 September 2025

### International students' orientation week

- Monday 15 September to Friday 19 September 2025

### Examinations

- **Autumn semester:** Monday 12 January to Friday 23 January 2026
- **Spring semester:** Monday 18 May to Friday 5 June 2026
