With your knowledge, skills and your method of research, you have the perfect background to find a job as a biomedical engineer. Demand for biomedical engineers is high, because average life expectancy is on the rise, the role of technology within healthcare continues to develop and the complexity of biomedical challenges is ever increasing.

After achieving your MSc in Biomedical Engineering, a broad range of opportunities awaits you. You can find work as a researcher, but you can also become a project manager, teacher, consultant or business developer. As a graduate, you can find work in universities and hospitals or at pharmaceutical and technical organizations.

You can also decide to pursue a doctorate (PhD) at TU/e or another university. If you would like to discover how biomedical technology can best be incorporated in clinical practice, consider the EngD (Engineering Doctorate) post-graduate program to become a Qualified Medical Engineer (QME), or the EngD course to become a clinical informatician at the TU/e.
