**At work**

As a registered architect or urban planner, there are many diverse professions to choose from. Demand for graduates is still on the rise, which results in good job opportunities in a wide variety of domains. You can be employed by firms large or small, specialized or otherwise, and you can also opt for a policy position in a government agency or an consultancy post in an organization or cooperative. You can often promote to a managerial position or you can start your own agency. Whatever profession you choose: you will be exposed, together with others, to the many facets of conceiving, mentoring and designing solutions to spatial preferences, plans and challenges.
