Bachelor Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences

Selection procedure

The selection procedure for the bachelor program Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences has now been completed. You can no longer apply for this program to start in 2026/2027. The maximum number of students that can enrol in this program for the academic year 2026-2027 is 325.

The BSc Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences selection day for academic year 2026-2027 is scheduled for March 28, 2026.

More information regarding the selection procedure for the 2027-2028 academic year will be published here by 1 October 2026 at the latest.

WHY SELECTION?

If interest in a program exceeds the maximum limit, we apply a selection procedure to find students who best fit our profile of the Engineer of the Future. This means that a limited number of spots are available and all candidates are selected via the selection procedure. Thankfully, we are able to grant admission to many interested candidates. So do not get discouraged and participate in the selection procedure!

Our ideal student profile

An engineer in today's society needs to have both scientific knowledge and the personal and professional skills to put that knowledge to use for society. They need to deliver technological solutions for the complex problems facing society and the world. To do this, engineers need to be able to collaborate, communicate and think creatively. To look beyond the horizon and have an enterprising mindset.

Is this you? Then we like to see you as a student next year!

Selection procedure

Criteria

The selection procedure for Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences is based upon the criteria as mentioned in the Departmental Regulations Selection Criteria and Procedure.

Ranking

Based on the aforementioned criteria, a ranking list of candidates is formed, ranking from 1 to the number of participating candidates who successfully completed the selection procedure. In case of an equal ranking based on the selection criteria, the order of those candidates will be selected randomly.

Make sure that you meet all the criteria, for instance by sending in the required documents in time. If you do not meet these criteria, you are excluded from the selection procedure and will not receive a ranking number. As a consequence, you will not be eligible for enrolment.
