## "I focus on THE CHALLENGING TOPICS OF OSTEOARTHRITIS AND LIGAMENT RUPTURE"
From a young age I have been fascinated by the human body, especially by orthopedics. This fascination was only confirmed during my bachelor, which made it a logical choice for me to join the Orthopaedic Biomechanics research group within my master. In the future I would like to combine the medical and technical knowledge I gained in my bachelor with the more in-depth technological knowledge I am now acquiring, in order to make a valuable contribution to orthopedic medicine. Many people, for example, suffer from osteoarthritis or tear a cruciate ligament at some point; for me it is a very enjoyable challenge to be able to make a difference for these people.
I am active in student life, I love traveling and I enjoy the interesting opportunities that TU/e has to offer. What I like most about Eindhoven as a student city is that it is very small-scale, so you often run into familiar faces everywhere.
