## "I analyze human behavior in online environments"
Technology can truly change how people think and respond to the world. For example, people behave very differently on Facebook than they do offline. I’m fascinated by data from online activities—to design smoother interactions, to understand how people feel, and to find and predict patterns in responses and behavior. Wouldn’t it be great if our online environments genuinely reflected our preferences, were more accessible to everyone, and made us feel at home?\

I chose Eindhoven because TU/e is the only Dutch university that combines psychology and technology, and I immediately felt at home there. All TU/e programs are relatively small, so there are hardly any barriers to getting in touch with students and lecturers, and I feel that my research is truly valued. In my future career, I would love to have an advisory role, for example in user research at a company.
