As part of our thrust to support the innovation of TU/e education, ALT organizes and disseminates activities that foster exchange and collaboration with thought leaders in the field of engineering education. We also organize and disseminate activities that further the professional development of teachers, as well as their education innovation projects.

Some students don’t fit the standard template of the information systems TU/e uses. Think of international names or an outdated gender identity.

Gifted students learn and think differently, which can sometimes make it difficult for them to perform as the education system expects.

Whether or not they want to use artificial intelligence when writing academic texts is up to them. But starting in February, master’s students taking the course Academic Writing will in any case learn how to use it responsibly.

Associate professor Joris Remmers explores the pros and cons of this technology in education.

Lecturers from technical universities across Europe gathered at TU/e yesterday, virtually and in person, to exchange experiences on Challenge-Based Learning (CBL).

Early November, TU/e teachers and other interested parties came together to discuss an urgent question: how are students using AI tools such as ChatGPT in their studies, and what does this mean for education?

What is the difference between Design-Based Learning (DBL) and Challenge-Based Learning (CBL), and how to transition between the two in your course?
