## "I MINIMIZE PEDESTRIAN INJURIES IN CAR ACCIDENTS"

I am working on a prediction model for head injuries of pedestrians in car accidents. Optimizing the model will drastically reduce the calculation time for injury prediction. I find this project really useful, because I can imagine car manufacturers would be eager to use it to design safer cars. I came to Eindhoven for the Mechanical Engineering program. You can tailor your own program, which is motivating but also challenging. Teachers at TU Eindhoven are very helpful and approachable. If you have a question, they always find time for you. Many courses include practical exercises such as assignments or experiments; it is not just theory, lectures and exams. I have gained a lot of abstract and highly specialized knowledge since I started at the university, and that has broadened my career opportunities.
