Important: TU/e does not arrange housing for employees. You will need to find accommodation independently.\ \ In Eindhoven, housing for expats is typically offered through commercial housing agencies. These agencies list available properties on their websites, ranging from student rooms to luxury homes. Options can be fully furnished, semi-furnished, or unfurnished. If you find something suitable, you can contact the agency directly for more information.

Fees and general terms\ Commercial housing agencies often require a fee for their services. The fee differs per agency, but is usually a few hundred euros. Rental agreement terms can differ per agency/accommodation. We strongly advise starting your housing search at least two months before your arrival in Eindhoven.

Rental prices in Eindhoven\ Housing in Eindhoven is not cheap. This is to give an idea of rental prices:

1-person accommodation with shared facilities (student room), rent starts at €400 up to €550 per month (student rooms often require a minimum stay of 6 months).
1-person accommodation with private facilities: rental prices from €800 up to €1500 per month.
Short-stay housing for couples: rent starting at €1000 - € 1800 per month.
Short-stay housing for families: rent starting at € 1500 per month.

Short-stay housing\ Housing in Eindhoven for short-stay guests is offered by commercial housing agencies who offer housing especially aimed at short-stayers. This means you are not bound to a rental agreement for a minimum of six to 12 months. Short-stay rental agreements are usually for a fixed period agreed upon by tenant and landlord. In most cases you cannot end the rental agreement before the agreed end date.
