## "I DREAM OF A SELF-LEARNING SURGICAL ROBOT"

Imagine a deep ravine with a shaky bridge across it. On one side stands technology, on the other side psychology. My studies contribute to strengthening that bridge. Engineers benefit from insights from psychology – the user side – and psychologists validate new insights with technical knowledge. This already happens with persuasive technology: using apps to live healthier. A super interesting combination. Think of the development of tablets: the tablet Microsoft made was pushed out of the market by the iPad. Because Apple understands the user side. I would love to function later in a company as the connecting link between both fields. I imagine contributing to the development of the ideal surgical robot, one that can intuitively support a surgeon during complex operations. A wonderful example of Psychology and Technology.
