"I DREAM OF PERFECTLY CONTROLLED MEDICINE DELIVERY"

During my bachelor’s final project I researched molecular drug delivery. For this I studied the interaction between particles that can bring medicines to the right place in the body before they are released. I hope that my research will lead to fewer side effects for patients. To analyze my results, I used a lot of physics and mathematics. For me this program is the perfect combination of chemistry with physics and mathematics. To make such chemical solutions available to the whole world, it is important that processes can be scaled up. That is why after my bachelor I will study process technology. To send important innovations into the real world.

I chose TU/e because Eindhoven is the starting point of many innovations and I enjoy being part of that and contributing to it. Moreover, in Eindhoven you have a lot of freedom of choice. That allowed me to deepen my knowledge in modeling chemical processes and in materials science on a larger scale.
