The website for online shopping, controlling a robotic vacuum cleaner, smart lighting: technology is all around us and is an important part of our lives. Too important to just leave to technologists!
In Psychology & Technology, you learn how technology influences people and how you can let technology work for people by using psychological knowledge. You also learn how to use psychology to design completely new technological applications. Think of:
- Robots that can help around the house
- Intimate technology for showing affection remotely
- Lighting that keeps you healthy and makes you smarter
- Avatars that help you save energy
- Smart street lighting
- A shower that helps you save water
A unique combination
The bachelor's program in Psychology & Technology offers a unique combination and integration of behavioral scientific knowledge on one hand, and technical knowledge and skills on the other hand. You will take courses in the field of psychology, technology, and research. Our students value the program for its practical approach, small-scale environment, and guidance from instructors. Thanks to the distinctive Challenge Based Learning (CBL) assignments, you can apply your knowledge to realistic challenges during your studies.
