After graduation
After completing your bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, most students continue on to pursue a master’s program before entering the workforce. The bachelor’s program at TU/e provides direct access to a variety of master’s programs within the department of Mechanical Engineering:

The demand for skilled, academically trained engineers continues to be high — and job prospects for mechanical engineers are consistently strong. Many of our graduates quickly secure rewarding positions across a wide range of industries and roles. Career paths include:
- Technical designer
- Production or process engineer
- Project or systems engineer
- Researcher or PhD candidate
- Entrepreneur or startup founder
Graduates often find positions at engineering firms, high-tech companies, and research institutions such as TNO (Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research).
