## "I HELP DOCTORS CHOOSE THE BEST TREATMENT"
We are learning how to model a patient’s situation in order to predict the course of the disease and how to help medical staff choose the most effective treatment. I have only just started the master, one of the first courses was about the mechanics of how blood flows through the blood vessels. It is quite theoretical and mechanical with a lot of calculations and modeling. This course offers the opportunity to practice and repeat well, and I am looking forward to applying this later in the program in a project.
I have visited many universities, but TU/e had the right atmosphere for me. It is easy to get in touch with people and it is a challenging program. I do not yet know exactly what I want to do after graduating. Doing research is fun, but there are also many interesting companies in the industrial sector and consultancy.
