## "I'M ALWAYS OPTIMIZING PROCESSES TO IMPROVE THEIR EFFICIENCY"

I recently completed my internship at NXP Semiconductors, in Eindhoven, Hong Kong, other parts of China and South Korea. I was asked to do a full internship there after a successful and interesting project for extra credit. My production scheduling program was a big improvement in efficiency, and they’re still using it today. The master’s degree program combines theory and practice, exactly what I wanted. At TU/e, you learn to be independent and research-focused, and our professors are very approachable. Eindhoven is a proven city of technology, and there are many adventures you can have. In the future, I’d like to work at a company where I can have carte blanche to optimize a variety of things, or perhaps start my own business. I know how lucky I am, and I hope to keep doing this work in the future.
