As a graduate of the Master's program in Industrial Design, you are a unique, initiative-taking designer, entrepreneur or researcher. Our alumni are distinguished by their proactive, 'hands-on' attitude, where prototyping is an essential part of the design and research process. In addition, our studenten are trained to develop the professional skills they need in their future career in both the Bachelor's and Master's programs: reflection, goal setting, presentation, collaboration, and reporting.
After graduation, you are equipped to tackle any design challenge: whether it's researching and developing a new material, designing a system to enhance civic engagement, or giving a driver a sense of control in a self-driving car. The topics or domains may vary, but with the knowledge and skills you’ve acquired, you're not afraid to take on any design challenge. The industrial designer plays a central role in driving innovation: an engineer who brings together diverse disciplines such as emerging technologies, user insights, societal trends, data, and sustainability, and transforms technical breakthroughs into market-ready solutions.
