Starting your career … \ After completing this program, you may call yourself a Master in Science Education. You have solid professional knowledge, and methodological and scientific expertise. You also have insight into the educational, psychological, and pedagogical aspects of the learning process of students. Your development and your ability to teach makes you unique: you know who you are and what your strengths are. You design lessons and teaching material while collaborating closely with your colleagues.

With your acquired knowledge you can start teaching at a secondary school or in higher education, sometimes already during your study program. A teacher has a broad range of tasks, including teaching and supervising students, shaping the school’s educational future and developing new or improved teaching methods.

The Master Science Education is also a good start for those who are thinking of becoming a (technical) consultant, an educational specialist or part of an interdisciplinary team. The pedagogical and communication skills that you gain will make you a valuable employee and your knowledge and skills can be useful for management tasks: you can quickly find yourself coming into consideration for a coaching or managerial role if you so desire.
