## From 3D printing to laser cutting

TU/e innovation Space is the place where you make with your hands what you have in mind. In various workshops with modern tools and instruments, you can shape your ideas under supervision or after instruction.

We have several labs with 3D printers, laser cutters, sawing and painting capabilities, lathes and virtual reality equipment to further develop your prototypes. To get a glimpse of all facilities, check out the labvideo.

Prototyping areas

On the first floor, there are two prototyping rooms. If you would like to use them, please report to the Service Desk. You can also go to the Service Desk to borrow tools.

Light assembly

This is the open assembly space. Here you can build your 'proof of concept' with basic tools when there is no education. The service desk can provide you with tools and assistance every weekday from 8:00h until 18:00h. 3D printing is also possible via the service desk assistants.](https://educationguide.tue.nl/programs/innovation-space/facilities/light-assembly)[Matrix 1.100

Heavy Assembly

Space used for courses and temporary experimental setups, 3D printing, soldering, and testing components and circuit boards in the electronics lab, as well as for using non-water-based solvents and glues.](https://educationguide.tue.nl/education/tue-innovation-space/about/facilities/heavy-assembly)
