You can begin your studies at the University of Sheffield International College at multiple points in the year.

Check course start dates for your programme

Check the dates so you can plan your journey, book flights and make arrangements to arrive on time.

The International Foundation Year and Pre-Masters are delivered at the International College and you will study for 1.5 or 2 semesters, depending on your English language ability. The date you start your programme will determine how long you will have between when you finish your course at the University of Sheffield International College and the beginning of your degree.

International Foundation Year (2 semesters)

English language preparation courses

If you do not meet the English language requirements for your pathway programme, you can improve your level of English by joining our specialist English language tuition. Programmes are delivered by the University’s English Language Teaching Centre. Depending on your pathway programme, English language level and the intake date you aim to begin, you can study the English language course either on campus or online.
