UCL has a well-established Study Abroad programme, welcoming students from around the world who wish to gain credit for study undertaken at UCL in order to graduate from their home institutions.
Study Abroad
Students can come to UCL for a term or a year and earn credits that can be used to complete their studies at their home university. Explore your study options and how to apply.
UCL Summer School
With over 50 nationalities taking part in summer school courses with three to six weeks of credited study, the UCL summer school is a truly international experience.
Exchange
For undergraduate and graduate students from UCL’s Exchange partner institutions. Before you apply check with your home institution that they have an Exchange partnership with UCL and that it covers your intended subject area and level of study.
Erasmus +
For undergraduate and graduate students from international institutions that have a partnership with UCL’s Erasmus + programme. Before applying check your area of study is covered by the partnership.
Visiting Research Students
You can apply to spend 3 to 12 months at UCL undertaking research which is complementary to the Doctoral/PhD project your are studying at your 'home' university.
Graduate Affiliate
