# Coaching for Staff

Staff of the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich, who provide advisory services to students on a direct or indirect basis, can arrange an appointment with us if they wish to prepare or analyze a difficult discussion with a student.

Are you worried about a particular student? Did the last discussion with a student get out of hand? Are you uneasy with the feelings that arise when having to tell a student that they have failed their exam?

A counseling session can help understand the situation in a calm environment. In a personal coaching session, you can sharpen your active listening skills and methods of understanding, and learn to maintain some distance. Duly considered feedback will enable you to see blind spots and alternative ways of (re-)acting.

A coaching consultation can take place in person at Plattenstrasse 28, by video or phone call.\
