What you’ll study

This is an exit-only course available to students completing the UTS Master of Screen Arts and Production. To be awarded this qualification, you must have completed the requisite subjects before applying for the Graduate Diploma course.  \  \ These include three core units, where you'll get hands-on in the studio to examine scripted and unscripted production perspectives and screen experience. You'll also get to complete your choice of two disciplinary electives, choosing from subjects like editing, directing, filming, producing or curation, as well as an industry-based internship subject.

Course highlights

In this program, you'll undertake core subjects designed to introduce you to common foundational skills covering scripted and unscripted production and media art. You'll also have the opportunity to hone your specialised capabilities through discipline-specific elective units of your choice in areas like producing, editing, filming and more.

In this course students engage in hands-on and practical training and develop a network of creative collaborators. Core subjects introduce students to a set of common foundational skills, whilst a broad range of industry-aligned electives allow students to specialise in a chosen aspect of screen production craft.
