What it’s like studying marketing in Australia on a scholarship transcript
Hi, my name is Rodrigo.
I'm originally from Guatemala.
I'm doing a master's degree of marketing, and I got the Academic Excellence Scholarship. I chose UTS because it’s a really good\ university and it’s recognised worldwide.
So the learning experience at UTS is very academic-focused compared to Guatemala where it’s very industry-focused, industry leaders will teach you about business.
In here at UTS, academic business people will teach you about business. So that complementary focus of business is what I really like.
In addition, I consider UTS very inclusive with everyone. It’s very inclusive with the LGBT community participating in the pride parade.
I think the scholarship I got just improved the value proposition of stepping out of the workforce for a few years and make it more attractive to me to come here and actually increase my knowledge in something I do really like.
I'm very fortunate to have received the Academic Excellence Scholarship from UTS.
I encourage all international students, apply and have a chance to study at UTS, and it will give you a once in a lifetime experience.
