Overview
If you're passionate about people and want to move into senior HR roles, the UTS MBA majoring in Human Resource Management is for you. In this program, you'll establish core business acumen in finance, accounting, marketing and more, all while building the specialised insight into HR you need to accelerate your career. \ \ You'll focus on themes such as people, culture and organisational behaviour, with both a contemporary body of knowledge and the management skills you’ll need for success as an HR and management specialist. The major covers essential areas such as HR strategy, interpersonal skills and people management, employee engagement, recruitment and selection, performance management, along with a special focus on diversity and inclusion and managing for social impact. The major analyses emerging issues in industrial relations and law, and addresses the role of emerging HR technologies and the ethical issues facing managers in the future of work.
