## What you’ll study
In this program, you’ll undertake a variety of core subjects, building your fundamental knowledge of the engineering profession and competencies in areas like project management, mathematics and modelling. Your Mechanical and Mechatronic major will then see you go deeper, developing the capabilities you need to design and synthesise mechanical systems with modern electronic control and computing.
Your final year honours research project will provide an essential capstone to your learning, and you’ll also have the opportunity to acquire valuable employment experience through your professional work placement.
