Industry Accreditation
Completion of the Accounting major meets the educational membership requirements for admission as a member of CPA Australia (CPAA), Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). Additionally, the major provides exemptions from multiple subjects which need to be completed for membership of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

As a Bachelor of Business student, you won’t select your major until your second year of study. Your first year will see you undertake a number of core disciplinary subjects, developing your understanding of the contemporary business world.
You'll then begin completing your major studies, developing the critical, industry-ready skills you need to succeed as an accountant.
