A number of countries offer scholarships or sponsorship opportunities to their citizens who wish to study in Australia.

## Check your sponsorship eligibility

If you are from one of the following countries, you may be eligible for a scholarship or financial aid to support your studies at UTS.

**Note: There may also be other scholarship and sponsorship options that are not listed below. Please check in your home country.**

### Colombia

**The Foundation for the Future of Colombia - COLFUTURO**

[The Foundation for the Future of Colombia - COLFUTURO](http://www.colfuturo.org/) (opens external site) provides financial and academic support to Colombian undergraduate professionals wishing to undertake postgraduate education overseas.

UTS and COLFUTURO has an agreement, whereby Colombian students who have secured a COLFUTURO scholarship will be awarded a UTS tuition fee scholarship to undertake postgraduate coursework studies at UTS.

### Ecuador

**Secretaría de Educación Superior, Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación**

UTS is a supporter of the Secretaría de Educación Superior, Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación [SENESCYT Program](http://www.senescyt.gob.ec/) (opens an external site) in Ecuador, which aims to open up opportunities and develop research in science and technology areas for Ecuadorian students.

The SENESCYT scholarships include programs at undergraduate, graduate and research levels of study and are open to Ecuadorian students studying at UTS.

### Indonesia

**Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi**

The Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi (DIKTI) provides funding for Indonesian students to study overseas at selected universities.

The DIKTI-UTS Doctoral degree program provides funding for Indonesian students studying at UTS.

### Mexico

**Fondo para el Desarrollo de Recursos Humanos**

[Fondo para el Desarrollo de Recursos Humanos (FIDERH)](http://www.fiderh.org.mx/) (opens an external site) provides loans to Mexican students to finance postgraduate studies within and outside of Mexico. The loans are managed by the Central Bank of Mexico.

UTS also provides additional support to students who have successfully qualified for financial aid through FIDERH.

### Peru

**Programa Nacional de Becas y Crédito Educativo**

The Peruvian Government offers an international postgraduate scholarships program 'President of the Republic Scholarships' or [PRONABEC](http://www.pronabec.gob.pe/).\
\
UTS is eligible to accept students under this program, administered through PRONABEC.

### Vietnam

**Vietnam International Education Development**

[Vietnam International Education Development (VIED)](http://icd.edu.vn) (opens an external site) and UTS are collaborating to provide high quality research and education and training to qualified students from Vietnam studying at UTS.

UTS will offer a joint scholarship each year to students from Vietnam in receipt of a VIED scholarship.
