Spouse & Family Resources

MSU offers many resources to the spouses and families of graduate and professional students.

For example, if the student is on an assistantship, their spouse and children can also be seen at the Employees Assistance Program for 6 free counseling sessions.

Students with non-student spouses are also eligible for relationship/couple’s counseling through MSU Counseling and Psychiatric Services.

Students should also check within their colleges and units as many of them provide additional caregiving resources to students with families.

For the spouses of international students, the Community Volunteers for International Programs (CVIP) offers a weekly International Spouse Connection event.
