# Upload your most recent progress grades

Occasionally, the MSU admissions office may ask a student to submit progress grades before a decision can be made on their application. If your school is on a semester system, you will need to send your first quarter/midterms grades when they are available. If your school is on a trimester system, you will need to send your first trimester grades as soon as they are available.

To send your grades as quickly as possible, please upload your first midterm/quarter grades or trimester grades by using the “File upload” feature in [your account](https://explore.msu.edu/account/login).
