The Joint Doctoral Program (JDP) at IITM is a unique opportunity for PhD scholars to gain substantial research exposure and enhance their thesis work by providing an opportunity to collaborate with any of our 19 partner institutes and universities.

About

Under the program, IITM PhD scholars can conduct research work for a duration of 12 to 18 months with a host faculty in one of the partner institutes. Scholars will have access to cutting-edge research facilities and resources, as well as the opportunity to work on research projects that are at the forefront of their field.

The JDP also encourages scholars to present their work at international conferences and publish research papers in top-tier academic journals, thus providing them with a global platform to showcase their research.

Benefits of the Program

The JDP equips PhD scholars with global research exposure, professional growth, and dual diplomas from leading institutions.
