Admissions Requirements and Applications
JUPAS Applicants
Students in local secondary schools taking the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) should apply through JUPAS.\
Candidates with HKDSE qualification* shall satisfy the following minimum requirements for the programmes:
*The best results in years 2024 and 2025 will be considered, with no penalty.

Admissions formula\ The programme will consider admissions based on the best 5 HKDSE subjects. The best 5 subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, the best Science elective subject*, plus the best two among the remaining Category A subjects and M1/ M2.\
Heavier weighting will be given to the following HKDSE subjects:
- Science elective subjects*, Mathematics, and M1/ M2: each subject will be given a weighting of 1.5
*Science elective subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics

Heavier weighting will be given to the following HKDSE subjects:
- Mathematics, Science elective subjects, M1/ M2 will be given a weighting of 1.3

Admissions formula\ The programme will consider admissions based on the best 6 HKDSE subjects. The best 6 subjects must include English Language, best subject in Mathematics/M1/M2, and the best Science elective subject, each with weighting 2, together with the best 3 subjects from the remaining Category A subjects/ M1/M2 without weighting.
Heavier weighting will be given to the following HKDSE subjects:
- Best science elective subject, Mathematics/M1/ M2 and English Language: each subject will be given a weighting of 2
