# Admissions Requirements and Applications
# JUPAS Applicants
Students in local secondary schools taking the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) should apply through JUPAS.\
Candidates with HKDSE qualification\* shall satisfy the following minimum requirements for the programmes:
*\*The best results in years 2024 and 2025 will be considered, with no penalty.*

**Admissions formula**\
The programme will consider admissions based on the best 5 HKDSE subjects. The best 5 subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, the best Science elective subject\*, plus the best two among the remaining Category A subjects and M1/ M2.\
Heavier weighting will be given to the following HKDSE subjects:
- Science elective subjects\*, Mathematics, and M1/ M2: each subject will be given a weighting of 1.5
*\*Science elective subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics*

Heavier weighting will be given to the following HKDSE subjects:
- Best science elective subject, Mathematics/M1/ M2 and English Language: each subject will be given a weighting of 2
