## There is a free, NHS-run health service on Mile End campus, just for students.
### How to access healthcare as a student
If you are a UK student and already have a GP at home, we recommend that you register with one close to where you live during term-time, such as the Student Health Service.
If you cannot register with the Student Health Service for clinical reasons, or if it's more convenient to register with a doctor close to where you live, you can find a list of local doctors through the [NHS find a GP website](http://www.nhs.uk/Service-Search/GP/LocationSearch/4).
If you are an international student, your access to healthcare will depend on your type of visa and length of stay: [read up on how to access healthcare as an international student](https://www.qmul.ac.uk/student-health/accessing-healthcare/accessing-healthcare-students-outside-uk/).
