The Instructional Support Group (ISG) is a service-oriented organization within the School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. The ISG comprises

Our mission

We are devoted to delivering high quality education to students in a manner that is fair and respectful to everyone. There are three main ways in which we meet this goal:

Each term ISG supports3500+ undergraduates

enrolled in one or more CS course

Each term ISG supports150+ graduates

in Teaching Assistant or Instructional Apprentice roles

Each term ISG supports20-40 co-op students

hired as Instructional Support Assistants

Each term ISG supports30+ Instructors

including Faculty, Staff, or Sessional.
