The Instructional Support Group (ISG) is a service-oriented organization within the [School of Computer Science](https://uwaterloo.ca/cs) at the [University of Waterloo](http://uwaterloo.ca/). The ISG comprises

## Our mission
We are devoted to delivering high quality education to students in a manner that is fair and respectful to everyone. There are three main ways in which we meet this goal:
- We form partnerships with course instructors, including faculty members and sessional instructors, to support them in their teaching roles.
- We ensure that students receive quality instruction and assistance by providing the necessary software and training for staff.
- We provide teaching resources to the School by taking on the instructor role to teach CS courses when there is a need.
Each term ISG supports3500+ undergraduates

Each term ISG supports150+ graduates
in [Teaching Assistant](https://uwaterloo.ca/computer-science-instructional-support-group/teaching-assistant-instructional-apprentice-support/expectations-all-teaching-assistants) or [Instructional Apprentice](https://uwaterloo.ca/computer-science-instructional-support-group/teaching-assistant-instructional-apprentice-support/teaching-assistant-and-instructional-apprentice-duty) roles
Each term ISG supports20-40 co-op students
