# The Culture of Care at Rice

The community at Rice is shaped by a culture of care, reflecting an emphasis on collaboration, mutual support, and empathy over competition. # VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

A resource available to all undergraduate students at Rice, the Center for Civic Leadership (CCL) builds leadership knowledge through a combination of learning, acting, and creating change. Additionally, the center also hosts leadership courses and international fellowships to create opportunities for political engagement and so much more. Working alongside these high-impact community partners facilitates a community of scholars and practitioners amongst Rice's students, staff and faculty.
