Are you having trouble with BuckeyePass authentication?

Issue with push notifications

Some students are having a problem logging into services that require authentication with BuckeyePass/DUO Mobile (Ohio State’s authentication system) because they aren’t receiving push notifications.

The solution is to request a passcode instead of a push notification to complete authentication. Here’s how to do that.

\

  1. When you attempt to access a service requiring BuckeyePass authentication, a screen will pop up with the authentication method being used. Select Other options and then select “Duo Mobile passcode.”
  2. Open the Duo Mobile app on your device and find a temporary passcode under the Ohio State University account. That passcode can be used to complete authentication.
