# Are you having trouble with BuckeyePass authentication?

## Issue with push notifications

\

Some students are having a problem logging into services that require authentication with BuckeyePass/DUO Mobile (Ohio State’s authentication system)
**because they aren’t receiving push notifications**.

\

**The solution is to request a passcode instead of a push notification to complete authentication.** Here’s how to do that.

\

1. When you attempt to access a service requiring BuckeyePass authentication, a screen will pop up with the authentication method being used. Select
**Other options** and then select “Duo Mobile passcode.”
2. Open the Duo Mobile app on your device and find a temporary passcode under the
**Ohio State University** account. That passcode can be used to complete authentication.

- Register and add devices: Go to
